Dan initially started the pawn product that set this whole thing in motion. At first, it seemed like a small project that could earn us both a little money, help out a friend help us build a small business. However, 3 years later and 3,000 hours of development time later and things have changed. Dan’s no longer on the project but his early help cannot be overlooked.
His early database (ERPawn) design still constitutes the base design and foundation of the database used by PawnOfSale today. He chose PostgreSQL and CentOS when I might have gone with MariaDB and a more familiar Debian derivative (such as Ubuntu).
